Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

The purpose of these Terms of Service (the "Terms") is to set forth the rights, obligations, responsibilities, and other necessary matters between Friendly Sophie / Friendly Ryan (hereinafter referred to as the "Company", "we", or "us") and the user (hereinafter referred to as the "Member" or "you") utilizing the HUSH service (hereinafter referred to as the "Service") provided by the Company.

Article 2 (Effect and Amendment of the Terms)

These Terms shall become effective upon the Member's agreement during the registration process. Members can review the Terms at any time in the app's settings menu. The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms at its discretion. Any amended Terms will be announced via in-app notices 7 days prior to the effective date. Members have the right to refuse the amended Terms and may terminate their account. If a Member does not express a refusal within 15 days from the effective date of the amended Terms, it shall be deemed that the Member has agreed to the changes.

Article 3 (Definitions)

HUSH Service: A location-based social matching and chat service that allows Members to connect and communicate based on distance. Member: An individual aged 19 or older who has entered into a User Agreement with the Company and uses the Service. Members are categorized as male or female. Coin: The virtual currency used within the Service. Male members purchase Coins to use paid features. Female members receive Coins (after the deduction of a platform fee) through Service activities (such as chatting, receiving gifts, or album views) and can reuse these Coins within the Service. Gift / Album: Digital items or content that Members can purchase, gift, or rent using Coins.

Article 4 (Application and Approval of Use)

The User Agreement is established when a prospective Member agrees to the Terms, submits an application, and the Company approves it. The Company may refuse approval or subsequently terminate the agreement for applications made by individuals under 19, applications using false or stolen information, or any other application violating relevant laws or public morals. For operational efficiency, the Company may classify accounts that have not logged in for 3 consecutive months as "Long-term Inactive" and may delete the account data.

Article 5 (Account Deletion and Forfeiture of Assets)

Members may request account deletion at any time through the in-app settings menu. (Important) Upon a Member's voluntary account deletion or forced termination due to a violation of these Terms, all holding virtual assets including "Coins", "Gifts", and "Album access rights" are immediately and permanently forfeited. These assets will not be refunded, compensated, or restored under any circumstances.

Article 6 (Paid Services, Payments, and Coin Acquisition)

Members can purchase Coins using the payment systems provided by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). When Coins are spent on sending messages, gifting, or viewing albums, the Company deducts a set platform fee (50%), and the remaining Coins are credited to the receiving female Member. Female Members may use the Coins earned through their activities to continue utilizing the features within the Service. No Cash Out: The Service does not provide any cash exchange, cash withdrawal, or refund system for Coins, whether purchased or earned through activities.

Article 7 (Strict Restriction on Refunds and Chargebacks)

No Refund for Used Assets: Coins that have already been used or consumed for sending messages, renting albums, or purchasing gifts are deemed to have lost their value upon use. Therefore, used Coins are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances. Chargeback Abuse Defense and Liability: If a Member completely consumes their purchased virtual assets and subsequently requests an unjustified refund (Chargeback) through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, the Company will permanently ban the account and confiscate all remaining assets. Furthermore, the Company reserves the right to submit the Member's legitimate usage logs to the respective app markets to dispute the chargeback and may take civil or criminal legal action for fraud. To prevent fraudulent activities as stated above, the Company retains the Member's payment logs and device identifiers for up to 5 years, in accordance with applicable laws and our Privacy Policy. Members may request a refund for unused purchased Coins within 7 days of the purchase date. However, Coins provided for free by the Company (events/promotions) and Coins earned by Members through in-app activities are strictly non-refundable.

Article 8 (Prohibited Acts and Service Restrictions)

Members are strictly prohibited from engaging in the following acts. If detected, the Company will immediately and permanently ban the account without prior notice, confiscate all Coins and assets, and may take legal action. Promoting, soliciting, or engaging in illegal dating arrangements, prostitution, or "sugar" relationships. Uploading, sharing, or distributing Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAE). (Zero-tolerance policy: Violators will be permanently banned and reported to law enforcement agencies immediately). Attempting fraud, romance scams, phishing, or soliciting money by luring other Members to external messengers (e.g., KakaoTalk, LINE, WhatsApp). Committing identity theft by using another person's photos, personal information, or payment methods. Posting illegal advertisements, such as promoting illegal gambling, narcotics, or unlicensed medications.

Article 9 (Disclaimers)

The Company does not guarantee the truthfulness or accuracy of the profile information (photos, age, occupation, etc.) provided by Members. The Company shall not be liable for any financial, physical, or psychological damages arising between Members, unless caused by the Company's willful misconduct or gross negligence. The Company is exempt from liability for service interruptions caused by natural disasters, war, telecommunication failures, or errors in the payment systems of open markets (Apple/Google). The Company is not responsible for any damages or non-refundable situations resulting from the Member's negligence in managing their account/password or transferring their account to a third party.

Article 10 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes arising in connection with the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts under the Civil Procedure Act of the Republic of Korea. Addendum These Terms of Service shall be effective as of April 30, 2026.
